5 Whys Challenge: Boris Modylevsky

BorisIt’s already here, can you feel it?

Well, you will if have already registered.

Let’s talk about the environment. I think we can all agree that we want more green. Green builds, that is.

We seem to think that being green is binary – either the build succeeded or not. But being the complex creatures that we are, we tend to look at different shades of green.

Boris Modylevsky has identified “50 shades of green“, as his talk suggests. Do you want to learn how differentiate between them? Come to his session.

But before that, let’s see what Boris has to say about the conference:
  • Why should people come to the conference?
There is a variety of meetups and conferences in Israel. What makes this conference special is the unique combination of exciting speakers, mostly coming from abroad.
  • Why should people come to my session?
My 15-minute session will be focused on improving the code quality over time. I hope it will inspire people to think about their code quality and reducing the technical debt.
  • Why did I choose this topic?
I believe that internal code quality improves the software product quality, and I would like to share from my experience how it can be done within a team.
  • Why am I looking forward for everyone’s session?
I cannot pick a specific session that I am looking for. It seems that it would be an amazing conference and I am looking for all the sessions.
  • Why is the word for a fear of long words, hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia, so long?
Because it is combined of a several words. Is it really so long? It seems that pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a little bit longer 🙂

I need to pick a better challenge next year, people keep breaking the questions.

If you do have better ones, let me know at the conference. If you want to get past the bouncer, go register.
